Michael P. Steitzer, AIA
Mike has been designing solutions to satisfy the individual needs of each client since 1978. His body of work includes, schools, offices, hospitals, industrial buildings, and veterinary hospitals. In 1986 Mike founded MSA Veterinary Architecture in Topsham which has focused on commercial, veterinary hospitals, and animal facilities.
Mike is a member of the American Institute of Architects, NCARB, and the International Codes Council, and has been involved with his community by serving on the Topsham Planning Board, Topsham Development Incorporated, and the Topsham Public Library Board where he directed the design and construction of the Town’s new library.
Mike graduated from Iowa State University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Returning to Iowa Sate, he received his Bachelor of Architecture in 1982 and his Masters of Architecture in 1983, where his Design Thesis was Solar Applications in Small Animal Veterinary Facilities.
Mike lives in Topsham with his wife Dr. Susan B. Chadima, whose veterinary hospital he designed in 1988. His passions are books, travel and soccer.
Vicki S. Bode
Vicki has been working with MSA Architects since 2005. She serves as business manager, marketing director as well as emergency draftsperson.
Vicki has worked with firms to develop their marketing and business operations programs.
Vicki has been involved with her community by working closely with the schools, specifically the libraries, developing fund raising and student interaction activities. She also served on the Topsham Public Library Board for 10 years, serving as it’s treasurer, and during the construction of the new library she worked both as fund-raising campaign coordinator as well as helping to supervise construction.
Vicki lives with her husband Ted in Topsham.
Vicki graduated from Auburn University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science.
